The 5th vintage of the Corvina was harvested on October 5th, 2024, from Calleri Vineyard, a site that is a part of the greater Siletto Family Vineyard in San Benito County. Organically farmed, own-rooted featuring heavily gravel filled alluvial soils.

100% Corvina, fermented with native yeast, the 2022 vintage was fully destemmed and macerated on skins for 35 days before pressing. Both primary and secondary fermentations occurred naturally, followed by 16 months of élevage in neutral burgundy barriques. Naturally clarified, bottled unfined and unfiltered, the wine remains a lively, transparent, site-driven expression of both variety and place.

Corvina is traditionally a blending grape, rarely bottled on its own, even at its’ regional home of Veneto in northern Italy where it anchors Valpolicella and Amarone. Here it is produced as a stand alone variety where this vintage offers a new iteration of Corvina, set in tone from a warmer vintage as a site-driven varietal. The emphasis is on freshness, density, texture, and clarity of place.

Red currant, Pomegranate, Rose hips, Hibiscus tea, Dried sage, Crushed river stones, Tangerine pith. Fine, silty tannins, Dense mid-palate weight that is fresh and bright
